Is it Really a Healthy Choice?!

Okay, so you're on a roll with your #balance journey, right?! Your...

✔ Getting your workouts in

✔ Staying active

✔ Drinking your water

✔ Minimizing stress

✔ Prioritizing sleep

Which is AMAZING!!!! But you might not be making as healthy of food choices as you think! Even foods that are marketed to us as "healthy" can be loaded with processed ingredients! AKA....CRAP!

Take almond milk for example. Take a look at the ingredients in this super popular non-dairy milk option! There's a TON of ingredients in there that don't sound so healthy, do they? Then, take a peek at THIS almond milk brand instead! I don't about you, but I'd definitely choose the malk!

There are a MILLION foods out there. So many options that it's often difficult to decide what a "healthy" option is and what isn't. At the end of the day, if there are minimal ingredients in a food item and you can pronounce all of them, I'd say that it's a good choice!

Try to keep your food as natural as possible....AKA no nutrition label! From the plant or the ground! But when you do venture through the aisles, make sure to turn the item around and dive into the ingredient label. Real food= real results, #balance family!

You've got this!
